Dear Parade Participant:
We are excited to invite you to participate in the
Hughson Fruit & Nut Festival’s 7th Annual Parade. The
parade will take place during the 15th Annual Hughson
Fruit & Nut Festival on Saturday, May 17, 2003 in
Hughson, California. We have worked hard all year to
make changes and renovations in structure to assure the
quality our parade has exhibited in prior years. Check
in will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the Parade will begin
promptly at 11:00 a.m. We look forward to your
participation in this very successful event. All
participants must be pre-registered.
The parade is quite traditional with all units having a
one-minute time limit of 100 feet in front of the
judging area. You will be penalized five judging points
for every ten seconds over the limit if time is not
maintained. Awards will be announced and presented at
1:30 p.m., at the Entertainment Main Stage, downtown
Hughson, the day of the parade. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO
RECEIVE AWARDS. Awards will not be sent to you.

and follow from there to the parade location, and print
out your package. You can also request a package via
email at , or you can telephone us
and request your package to be faxed or mailed. Please
take the time to read over the package in its entirety,
as there have been changes and modifications.
Closing date for all entry registrations is March 30th,
2003. Please mail your entry form with a check or money
order of $15.00, payable to the Hughson Fruit & Nut
Festival, P.O. Box 1520, Hughson, CA 95326. Entry’s
received after March 30th are $25.00, there are no
